I spent February 2016 in Stockholm, interviewing and photographing around 40 members of the local startup scene. In June, the Startup Guide Stockholm was released, the second of such books I have helped produce.
The books series designed to give newcomers as well as aspiring entrepreneurs a one-stop overview of the respective city’s startup scene: It includes articles about young companies, co-working spaces, investors and experts, as well as interviews with established founders who share their journey and what they have learned along the way.
I was a newcomer to Stockholm myself, so I worked with the local team of the Startup Guide, who set up appointments for me, as I took buses and metros across the frozen streets, went from one interview to the next and took photos of various entrepreneurs in the fading daylight of the Swedish winter. You can buy the final book at www.startupguide.world.
And here are some of the photos I took.
